Tuesday 25th January

Let us pray that we will realize the value of keeping Jesus’ commandments and abide in His love. That each of us would live with the understanding of the Lord’s great love for us.

John 15:10 (ESV) 10 If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love.


John 14:23 (ESV) Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.

15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. 16 So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.

 

Wednesday 26th January

Pray for the leadership of SOLWM, thanking Almighty God for wisdom, knowledge, spiritual understanding and counsel, inspired utterance, boldness and clarity in preaching the gospel.

And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:

Thursday 27th January
 

Pray for open doors in this land for the propagation of the Gospel of Christ. Pray that every member of SOLWM will be an integral part in bringing multiplication of souls and growth to the church

 

Psalm 24:7-10 (AMP) - 7 Lift up your heads, O gates, and be lifted up, ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. 8 Who is the King of glory? Colossians 4:3-4 (TPT) - 3 And please pray for me, that God will open a door of opportunity for us to preach the revelation of the mystery of Christ, for whose sake I am imprisoned. 4 Pray that I would unfold and reveal fully this mystery, for that is my delightful assignment.

Friday 28th January

Pray that we will be found in the secret place of the Lord as He builds His church in Kuwait.  Pray against strife, competition, pride, contention and gossip.

Saturday 29th January
 

Pray that the Body of Christ in Kuwait will continue to grow spiritually, establishing the reign of Jesus all over the land.

2: 26 Now the boy Samuel continued to grow both in stature and in favor with the LORD and also with man.

Sunday 30th January

Pray that we experience the rain of the Holy Spirit every time we meet as a body in Church with the manifestation of His presence and power. Pray that there will be supernatural miracles; physical and spiritual, transforming lives and that the fame of Christ spreads across the whole of Kuwait.

 

Acts 5:11-12 (TLB) Terror gripped the entire church and all others who heard what had happened. Meanwhile, the apostles were meeting regularly at the Temple in the area known as Solomon’s Hall, and they did many remarkable miracles among the people.

 

Acts 2:43 (TLB) A deep sense of awe was on them all, and the apostles did many miracles.

 

Jeremiah 33:9 (NLT) Then this city will bring me joy, glory, and honor before all the nations of the earth! The people of the world will see all the good I do for my people, and they will tremble with awe at the peace and prosperity I provide for them.

Monday 31st January

Pray that every member of SOLWM will have the revelation of the promised inheritance (natural and spiritual) in Christ and with faith and endurance they will take possession. Pray that SOLWM be licensed as a church in Kuwait and that we possess the property for our church in Kuwait.

 

Acts 20:32 (NLT) And now I entrust you to God and the message of his grace that is able to build you up and give you an inheritance with all those he has set apart for himself.

 

Hebrews 6:12 (NLT) Then you will not become spiritually dull and indifferent. Instead, you will follow the example of those who are going to inherit God’s promises because of their faith and endurance.

Tuesday 18th January

Pray that we are a people full of wisdom and discernment, fully understanding the Word of God and the current times. Pray against spiritual dullness.

 

Mark 6:52 (AMPC) - 52 For they failed to consider or understand [the teaching and meaning of the miracle of] the loaves; [in fact] their hearts had grown callous [had become dull and had lost the power of understanding].

 

James 1:5 (ESV) If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.

 

1 Chronicles 12:32 (AMPC) - 32 And of Issachar, men who had understanding of the times to know what Israel ought to do, 200 chiefs; and all their kinsmen were under their command;

Wednesday 19th January

Pray that as we will seek the counsel of the Lord and Pray that the fruit of our lips will come from a place of faith in God and intimacy with the Holy Spirit and that we will not obscure His counsel by speaking words without knowledge.

Job 42:1-6 (AMP) Then Job answered the Lord and said, 2  “I know that You can do all things, And that no thought or purpose of Yours can be restrained. 3  “[You said to me] ‘Who is this that darkens and obscures counsel [by words] without knowledge?’ Therefore [I now see] I have [rashly] uttered that which I did not understand, Things too wonderful for me, which I did not know. 4  ‘Hear, please, and I will speak; I will ask You, and You instruct [and answer] me.’ 5 “I had heard of You [only] by the hearing of the ear, But now my [spiritual] eye sees You. 6  “Therefore I retract [my words and hate myself] And I repent in dust and ashes.”

Thursday 20th January

Pray that each one of us will be builders of the House of the Lord in this nation. Pray that we will not tear down the work of the Lord by unholy alliances and frivolous activities, but discern the holiness of God and walk in the fear of God.

Nehemiah 2:18-20 (AMPC)

18 Then I told them of the hand of my God which was upon me for good, and also the words that the king had spoken to me. And they said, Let us rise up and build! So they strengthened their hands for the good work. 19 But when Sanballat the Horonite and Tobiah the servant, the Ammonite, and Geshem the Arab heard of it, they laughed us to scorn and despised us and said, What is this thing you are doing? Friday 21st January

Pray that each one of us is a sharpened instrument in the hands of God for the accomplishment of His plans and purposes here on earth. Pray that we are effective in what God has called us to as a ministry.

Ecclesiastes 10:10 (AMP) - 10 If the axe is dull and he does not sharpen its edge, then he must exert more strength; but wisdom [to sharpen the axe] helps him succeed [with less effort]. 

Isaiah 41:15-16 (AMPC) - 15 Behold, I will make you to be a new, sharp, threshing instrument which has teeth; you shall thresh the mountains and beat them small, and shall make the hills like chaff. 16 You shall winnow them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the tempest or whirlwind shall scatter them. And you shall rejoice in the Lord, you shall glory in the Holy One of Israel.

 

Jeremiah 51:20-21 (TLB) - 20 Cyrus is God’s battleaxe and sword. I will use you, says the Lord, to break nations in pieces and to destroy many kingdoms. 21 With you I will crush armies, destroying the horse and his rider, the chariot and the charioteer”

Saturday 22nd January

Pray for complete obedience to do the will of the Father; pray against the spirit of compromise, complacency, murmuring, delayed or partial obedience and rebellion.

Sunday 23rd January

Let us pray that we would experience the glory of the Lord whenever we gather together, and the Lord’s purpose for us as His Body would be fulfilled.

Zechariah 2:5 (ESV) And I will be to her a wall of fire all around, declares the LORD, and I will be the glory in her midst.’”

 

Isaiah 4:5 (ESV) 5 Then the LORD will create over the whole site of Mount Zion and over her assemblies a cloud by day, and smoke and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory there will be a canopy.

Exodus 33: 18-19 (ESV) Moses said, “Please show me your glory.” And he said, “I will make all my goodness pass before you and will proclaim before you my name ‘The LORD.’ And I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.

Monday 24th January

Pray that we give ourselves to continuous watching and prayer.

 

Mark 13:32-33 (AMPC) But of that day or that hour not a [single] person knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. 33 Be on your guard [constantly alert], and watch and pray; for you do not know when the time will come.


Ephesians 6:18 (KJV) Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

 

Isaiah 56:7 (KJV) Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

Tuesday 11th Jan

As we humble ourselves before God, drawing near to Him, let us invite the Holy Spirit to cleanse our deepest thoughts. Let everything hidden and sinful in our lives be brought out that we may forsake them and live right before Him.

12 How would I discern the waywardness of my heart?   Lord, forgive my hidden flaws whenever you find them. 13 Keep cleansing me, God, and keep me from my secret, selfish sins; may they never rule over me! Pray that each one will draw near to God and will forsake every wrongful and wicked way.

8 Come close to God [with a contrite heart] and He will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; and purify your [unfaithful] hearts, you double-minded [people]. 9 Be miserable and grieve and weep [over your sin]. Thursday 13th Jan

Let us pray for the protection of Seed of Life World Ministries and Faith Alive Trust. Pray that every hand stretched out against this ministry will wither and be unable to function in the Name of Jesus!

Pray for God’s protection and deliverance for our families from the plots and schemes of the enemy. Declare overwhelming victory through Christ Jesus.

Saturday 15th Jan

Let us pray that we as a Church will live in this assurance that God’s purpose and plan for us as a Church cannot be thwarted and He will move the hands of the authorities to work on our behalf.

Sunday 16th Jan

Let us pray that we as a Church will learn to trust fully on the Lord and not on man, avoiding every trap. That we would see the Lord alone as our safety!

The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is safe.

Monday 17th Jan

Pray that the overcoming grace (enabling ability of Christ which is beyond our natural ability) and peace (undisturbed) be multiplied unto every member of SOLWM through Christ Jesus. That we will live as overcomers through the victory won on the cross by Jesus Christ.

Each time he said, “No. But I am with you; that is all you need. My power shows up best in weak people.” Now I am glad to boast about how weak I am; I am glad to be a living demonstration of Christ’s power, instead of showing off my own power and abilities.
